Government of Madhya Pradesh has established this University by promulgating Dr. Dr.B.R. Ambedkar University of Social Sciences Act-2015 (No.-2 of 2016).The mandate of BRAUSS is higher education, research, extension and training. Dr.B.R. Ambedkar University of Social Sciences(BRAUSS) is the First University of Social Sciences in the country. The University is the unique model of integration of social sciences perspectives and approaches with scientific
and technological advancement for socio-economic development and educational excellence of the scheduled castes, scheduled tribes and other backward classes. BRAUSS has a mandate for social justice & emancipation, economic empowerment & development, educational excellence & skill development through increasing participation of scheduled castes, scheduled tribes and other backward classes in decisionmaking and nation building as well as establishing an egalitarian society.

(A) B.A.(Social Science)direct admission by merit after passing10+2 in any Subject.B.A.(Social Science) course is of 3 years (Six semesters) designed to meet the competitive needs of youth with a strong syllabus consisting of components of Civil Services Examination covering all major subjects of Social Sciences and General Studies, English, Computer and Personality Development as foundation.
(B) Direct Admission to Post Graduation courses;

Application, Entrance and How to Apply:
(1)A candidate can apply either "Online" or "Offline", Set of Application Form and detailed information can be downloaded form or Online on payment of prescribed fee by logging on to BRAUSS website https://www.brauss.in
from 10.00 AM (IST on30th,May,2016 till 22nd June 2016. Application fee can be paid by sending crossed Bank Draft for Rs. 500/-(Rs. Five Hundred only) for General,

(2)Entrance Test will be held on 3rd July 2016 at the following city centers:-
Mhow, Ujjain, Bhopal, Gwalior, Jabalpur, Satna, Raipur, Nagpur, Hyderabad, Bangalore, Chennai, New Delhi, Mumbai, Kolkata, Lucknow, Agra, Varanasi, Patna, Jaipur, Ahmedabad ,Bhubaneswar,Ranchi, Jagdalpur, Aurangabad and Shanti Niketan.
The University reserves the right to change /cancel any centre of examination.Time and duration of Entrance Test will be as under:-
(a) For M.Phil. Programme: Morning 10.00AMto 12.00PM on3rd July 2016 : 2 Hrs.
(b)For M.Sc.&M.Sc.(Ag.) Programme: Morning 10.00AM to 12.00PM on 3rdJuly 2016: 2Hrs.
(c)For Ph.D. Programme: Evening 02.00 PM to 04.00PM on 3rd July,2016 :2Hrs.(3)
The Application Form must reach to the Registrar, Dr. B.R. Ambedkar University of Social Sciences,
Dr. Ambedkar Nagar (Mhow),latest by 22nd June 2016. Candidates appearing in Entrance Test can download their Admit Card from University website/may contact at Center with proof of sending application form.(In case of any difficulty) and two photographs and one ID Proof.
