About MAT

Management Aptitude Test (MAT) is a standardised test being administered since 1988 to facilitate Business Schools (B-Schools) to screen candidates for admission to MBA and allied programmes. Govt. of India, Ministry of HRD approved MAT as a national level test in 2003. Any B-School - national or international - can consider MAT Score as an admission input based on the Score Cards issued to the candidates. The largest test of its kind in the nation, MAT will continue to be your passport to over 600 B-Schools across India.
Information to Candidates for May 2017 MAT

Mode of Test (How to take the test)    

Candidate can choose any one of the two options to take the test:

Paper Based Test
or
Computer Based Test

Test Date    

Paper Based Test :- 07 May 2017 (Sunday)    

Computer Based Test:- 13 May 2017 (Saturday)onwards**

**If the number of candidates registered for Computer Based Test is limited and can be accommodated in a single day; the test will be completed on 13 May 2017 itself.

Test Timing    
Paper Based Test :- 10.00am-12.30pm    
Computer Based Test:- In different Time slots at specific test venues;  subject to number of candidates registering for Computer Based Test.

Eligibility :- Graduates in any discipline.
Final year students of Graduate Courses can also apply.

How to apply for MAT 2017:- Candidate can choose any one of the following modes to apply.

Register online at website link: https://apps.aima.in/Matmay17 with Credit Card/Debit Card (ATM Card) payment of Rs.1400/- Detailed procedure is given on the website link.
Or
Register online at website link: https://apps.aima.in/Matmay17 by making payment of Rs.1400/- through Net Banking. Detailed procedure is given on the website link.

Important Dates for Applying:-
For candidates who complete the Online Registration by
        Uploading digital image of photograph,
        Uploading digital image of signature, and
        Online payment

Last Date for Online Registration:- 28 April 2017 (Friday)
(In this case, do NOT send the printout of the Registration Form. However, the candidate should retain a Printout of Registration Form for reference.)

For candidates who affix the photograph and sign the printout of Registration Form
and
For candidates who make the payment through Demand Draft (DD) or Online Payment

Last Date for Online Filling-up/ Purchase of Form:25 April 2017 (Tuesday)
and
Last Date for Submission of duly completed Printout of Registration Form at AIMA, New Delhi: 28 April 2017 (Friday)


(In this case, SEND the Printout of Registration Form. DD is also to be sent along with the Printout of the Registration Form, if payment was made through DD.)
